300 DAYS AFLOAT

It is now 300 days since we installed this eps foam free pontoon float under a finger pontoon in Falmouth Harbour.

It replaced a failing foam filled float that was visibly releasing eps balls into the water every day.

ReefFloat is plastic- and foam-free, inert in the marine environment, ultra long life and 100% recyclable at zero or very low cost.

It is made with an ultra-low-density concrete AIRIUM FRANCE core that we are developing with our partners Holcim.

As well as its environmental and sustainability benefits, it also has a lower COG than eps floats making it more stable, and a higher inertia to deal with wave action.
